I visited New York for the first time three years ago. Upon my stay there I enjoyed Manhattan Special for the first time. I just wish that it was sold in my home in Pittsburgh. With the introduction of "Coca-Cola Blak", I am worried that the Coca-Cola Company will try to replace them.

Say, born and raised in the Red Hook area of Brooklyn, these drinks were our saturday favorite when shopping. A Parnell with a Manhattan Special was the best. Moved to North Carolina...many years later and came across the drink at an Italian Deli in Cornelis...You KNOW we'll be back for more. Thank you for a touch of the "Old Neighborhood".

I lived in the Bronx, New York for many years and enjoyed Manhattan Special alot. Since I moved to Greenwich, CT I haven't seen it in the stores. I sure do miss that taste! I'm still looking for a store that sells it in my area. Or better yet, maybe I can find someplace that will sell me a case of it to have on hand. Anyone know where I can get a case?

While I have been a great fan of Manhattan Special all my life (born in the bronx), I recently introduced Manhattan Special to my family from Hawaii on there recent visit to NY. Well they absolutely fell in love with your product ! I have had to ship it to them since they left for Honolulu. It's great that in a time when coffee is so in "vouge", that the best coffee beverage out there is Manhattan Special.

There is only one word that sums up Manhattan Special.......Tradition I am 32 years old and have been drinking Manhattan Special since I was a fetus!!! So for me it means tradition, it means "Home". As a kid growing up in Brooklyn after running around outside playing skelsies we would run into Aunt Antoinette's apartment (cause she was the closest being on the bottom floor of the brownstone) and grab a Manhattan Special from the bottom shelf of her fridge. To this day Aunt Ann who is now 95 years old, God Bless her, open the fridge and reach on the bottom shelf and you'll still find it there!!! Or even better yet, go to the Panelle Store on Union St., get yourself a potato/panelle special or a rice ball with sauce and from the soda fountain you will be served Manhattan Special!!! These are the traditions I grew up with, these are what I plan to pass on to my son (presently 6 mos old). But even at 6 mos old he already had his first taste, and he liked it!! Thanks for 32+ years of Home and I pray for another 132+ years

In the sixties and seventies holidays usually found my family at my dad's Uncle Andy and Aunt Agnes' house in Brooklyn, and one of the things I always remember is helping Uncle Andy get sodas from his store room... the 64 oz bottles of Lemon Lime or Ginger Ale from some beverage place, but that was for the guests at the table. He and I would grab a small bottle of Manhattan Special each. I finally found someplace that sells it in North Carolina. It takes me right back to Uncle Andy's storeroom in Brooklyn. www.tdevito.com

I'm an actor and singer. I have been in many films and TV shows. My late father Antonio introduced me to Manhattan Speacial when I was child in Newark, NJ. I travel all over the world to do films. I am sceduled to do a film with Giancaro Gianinni in Fornelli, Italy in 2006. When I was with Giancarlo recently in Italy, I mentioned that my father always had Manhattan Special in our home. We used to get the soda delivered right from Manhattan Special from Brooklyn to our home. My father ran a Sicilian Social Club in Newark, and they used to sell Manhattan Special at the club. It was their biggest seller. I recently had a chance to have a Manhattan Special (coffee soda as I knew it) in NMw York at a Director's home. It brought back many good memoroies of my favorite soda as a kid. I reall am looking forward to getting it in my preaent home town of Toms River, Nj, or nearby. The only difference now is that it MUST BE DECAF. Thank you for all the happy moments.

Dear Sirs: I just wanted to take the time to write and thank you very much for a really great product. I am also very happy to see that you did not get sucked into using cheaper ingredients in your product like so many food manufactors are using in there's. It's unfortunate that the general public does not relize how harmful Frutose Corn Syrup is. This stuff is not even made from corn. It is made from a type of wood pulp. This is not even food. But anyway I have been drinking your Manhattan Special since I was a kid growing up in Newark. Just about every Saturday I would go to the local Italian hot dog and sausage store. I would always get a double sausage with everything on it and a couple of Manhattan Special sodas. When I left Newark and moved to the shore area I was very pleased to find an Italian Deli who sold your product. Both my sons also love your soda. Please don't ever change you recipe, and thank you again for a great tradition.
