I grew up drinking Manhattan Special. I live in Ohio now. My cousin brought me a case of soda this past weekend while here for my daugther's baptism. Most of my relatives on my mom's side of the family lived on Skillman Avenue. My Grandfather lived at 111 all his life. We would spend a good portion of our summers visiting with him. I'll always remember walking past the bottling machine on the way to shop for groceries with my grandfather. The noises that machine made were like music. He was friends with the operator who would pull a fresh bottle right off of the macine for us.
